About Queen City Jiu Jitsu
Queen City Jiu Jitsu has become Fort Mill's trusted destination for world-class jiu jitsu training. We're proud to offer expert instruction in a welcoming environment where students of all ages and abilities thrive.
As part of the Jiu Jitsu for Life Organization, we uphold the highest standards of bjj classes while maintaining the community-first values that make our academy special.
Our StoryOur mission is to help people of every age and ability grow and improve on and off the mats – one class at a time.
Our Mission“One thing Jiu Jitsu has taught me - be comfortable being uncomfortable. You can always tap-out and re-set; but first try to breathe, survive, have a plan, and counter. We win or we learn, often times learning is much more important. Lessons applicable on and off the mats.”
Bill Macy
Owner & Head InstructorBill Macy brings over 15 years of martial arts experience and unwavering dedication to Brazilian Jiu Jitsu to Fort Mill. As a passionate jiu jitsu coach, Bill's mission is simple: help every student discover their potential on and off the mats.
With deep roots in authentic Gracie Jiu Jitsu and a commitment to technical excellence, Bill has created a training environment where beginners feel welcomed and advanced students are challenged. As an older, smaller grappler, Bill focuses on fundamentals – teaching students to become more comfortable in uncomfortable situations through leverage and technique rather than size and strength.
